After the completion of power works by Equinix in SY1, M.D.G. IT will be redistributing power loads to restore power redundancy between 10pm and midnight on AEST 4 August 2021. Services are expected to be unavailable for:
- one period of approximately 5 minutes while the network fails over to redundant equipment.
- a second period of approximately 5-10 minutes while storage fails over to redundant equipment. This period may last up to 30 minutes on shared servers and older virtual machines running on Xen virtualisation.

This is the final maintenance event related to Equinix replacing Triplen Transformers, which was completed this morning without impact on service (http://status.mdg-it.com.au/incidents/q5vsmy53s4lt).
